Trains Are Rolling!

It took a while, and the scenery has a long way to go, but the first train rolled through Norwood Yard on Mark Mathu's Green Bay & Waupaca RR in January 2002.

The loco is an Atlas RS-3, the boxcar is a McKean 40' PS-1 boxcar kit, and the caboose a slightly modified Walthers International bay window caboose. The sanding tower is a Plastruct kit and the grain elevator is a Walthers kit with extra silos added from a second kit.

The track has been weathered, but as you can see, there's a lot of scenery work to do in Norwood Yard -- and this is the part of the layout that is furthest along!
