I am building a freelance short line railroad set in the 1930s in northern Wisconsin in HO scale. I found this site while researching images and information about railroading in that location and era, and it offers a lot of helpful information that I expect to use to add some realism to my own freelance line. I expect that the GB&W would be a likely source of interchange traffic for my freelance line. Thank you for collecting this information and making it available!

Unfortunately, Canadian National has decided to replace the two span deck truss at Hatfield, Wisconsin with a modern structure...sorry to be a bringer of bad news
