Kevin Prohl made this great model of an RS-1 from a Life-Like model.

Kevin started with a Life-Like Proto 2000 Alco S-1 switcher lettered for Louisville & Nashville #37.  After stripping the factory paint with Easy Lift Off (ELO) paint remover, he used Accuflex Santa Fe Red on the model [Accuflex paint is out of production; Modelflex is a close match], along with Modelflex #16-01 Engine Black,  and Polly Scale Undercoat Light Gray and Reefer Yellow.

Most of the decals are from a DM Custom Decals set, but the yellow numbers are from Microscale set #90106 (Railroad Gothic).  He sealed the decals with Floquil Crystal-Cote and now he has a fine-looking Green Bay & Western switcher for his layout!
