GBW power on the Windsor Modular Railroad Club.

Paul Bellemore shared these images of GBW models he is running on the Windsor (Ontario) Modular Railroad Club.  The photos were taken at the Essex Model Railroad Show.

GBW 319
(Windsor Modular Railroad Club
)

GBW 319

GBW 319 on the right is an early Atlas C-424 model with molded on details.  Paul shaved off the details and added coupler lift bars, MU hoses, all-weather windows, and even cut out the grills near the dynamic brake housing and fitted some micro mesh inside to give it a see through look.  The beacon is a small bulb with the tip of the bulb painted with Tamiya model paint see-through orange color.  The loco is fitted with a Train Control Systems decoder.

GBW 312

GBW 312 on the left is a newer Atlas C-424.  Paul shaved off the dynamic brake housing, filled in the grills and added a scratch built snow plow.

Paul painted both models with caboose red paint, weathered with various water-based paints.  He admits that both models are not quite finished and he promises send pictures when he finishes the models.
