Take a tour of Marv Preussler's Kewaunee Division of the GB&W.

The Layout:

Marv's operations based linear HO scale layout is in a 13' x 30' room. He is modeling the Green Bay & Western Railroad from Wisconsin Rapids to Kewaunee in the 1980's. The towns modeled include Black Creek, Seymour, Green Bay, New Franken and Kewaunee. The layout has about 70% scenery complete and features many scratch built structures found on the GB&W. There are a lot of details and custom painted rolling stock to be seen. The layout is powered by Wangrow System One DCC with North Coast Engineering wireless cabs.

Visitors to the layout are greeted by this scene; the effect is complete from the good lighting to the curved background all the way to the neat fascia around the layout edges.  The Green Bay industrial area is in the foreground; Luxemburg is along the back wall, and the peninsula (under construction) will be the eastern terminal of the GB&W at Kewaunee with a Lake Michigan carferry.
